Hi, I’m Aviv 👋🏻

I’m a research scientist at Hemispheric, a neuroscience startup developing foundation models for non-invasively decoding brain activity.

I like to work on anything where math and code come together to solve real problems.

I have a multidisciplinary background spanning machine learning, statistics, data science, signal processing, biomedical engineering and software. Over the years I’ve worked on technical challenges across a broad range of domains (cardiology, computational biology, finance, transportation, and others) in both industrial and academic roles.

Research from my PhD has been published in top journals and conferences. Some examples include,

• Detecting cardiac pathologies from ECG data using deep learning .
• Analyzing the connection between genetic coding and protein structure .
• Creating new tools for analyzing data distributions in high-dimensions .
