Hi, I’m Aviv 👋🏻

I’m a researcher, data scientist and a generally curious person.

I like anything involving math and code coming together to solve real problems. My main toolset comes from the domains of machine learning, statistics, data science, signal processing and software engineering.

During my PhD at the Technion Computer Science Faculty, I was fortunate enough to combine all of those things. Some examples from my research include,

• Detecting cardiac pathologies from ECG data using deep learning .
• Analyzing the connection between genetic coding and protein structure .
• Creating new tools for analyzing data distributions in high-dimensions .

Over the years, I’ve also worked in various industry roles. Currently, I’m a researcher at Sibylla, a fintech startup, where I develop machine-learning-based strategies for portfolio construction in equity markets.
